    The adult plan treatment discount

Adult For Life Plan members receive 10% off eligible dental treatments that do not involve an externally manufactured laboratory item.

A laboratory treatment is any treatment requiring a dental treatment item to be manufactured outside Teeth For Life by an external dental laboratory. Examples include, but are not limited to, crowns, bridges and dentures. The 10% treatment discount applies to adult For Life Silver, Gold and Platinum plans only. It does not apply to For Life Junior or For Life Youth.

Global Dental Accident and Emergency Scheme

All For Life Plan members have access to the Global Dental Accident and Emergency

Scheme while their dental plan remains active.

The Scheme is designed to offer discretionary financial support following certain:

    • Dental accidents
    • Dental emergencies
    • Emergency dental treatment while away from home
    • Dental or maxillofacial hospital admissions
    • Diagnoses of mouth cancer

Depending on the circumstances, assistance may be available towards eligible costs such as emergency treatment away from home, out-of-hours emergency call-outs and treatment required following an accidental injury to the teeth.

The Scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme and is not an insurance policy. Assistance is not guaranteed. Every request is considered individually by the Scheme Manager and is subject to the Scheme’s eligibility requirements, exclusions, time limits and benefit limits.

Patients should read the full Global Dental Accident and Emergency Scheme Handbook for complete information about how the Scheme operates and how to request assistance. A link to the scheme can be found on this page.

Which plan is right for me?

The most appropriate plan will depend on your age, dental history, current oral health and the

level of monitoring and hygiene care you require.

For adult patients, factors we may consider include:

    • The health of your teeth and gums
    • Your risk of tooth decay or gum disease
    • Your previous dental history
    • How frequently your dental health needs to be reviewed
    • The amount of professional hygiene support you require

Your dentist will discuss the available options with you and recommend the plan that most appropriately supports your individual needs.

    More than a monthly payment

A For Life Plan is not simply a way of spreading the cost of appointments. It is a commitment to regular, proactive dental care.

By attending consistently, we can identify changes sooner, provide personalised preventive advice and help reduce the likelihood of small problems becoming more complicated to treat.

    Our shared aim is simple:

To help you and your family enjoy healthy, confident smiles for life.
